Voice of the Martyrs Women's Retreat
Hello Friends,
Greetings on behalf of Voice of the Martyrs Canada! My name is Vanessa Brobbel, I’ve been serving at VOMC for many years alongside my husband Floyd Brobbel, the ministry’s CEO. VOMC is excited to announce that we will be hosting a women’s retreat this year in Ontario and you’re invited!
Our venue is Circle Square Ranch: Big Clear Lake, Arden (1361 Price Road-RR#3, Arden, Ontario, K0H 1B0). The retreat starts on Friday, May 17th to Sunday, May 19th. This event will be a time of refreshment and encouragement, packed with exciting options for adventure! These include wall climbing, horseback riding, or a relaxing afternoon with crafts and activities. We are excited to invite a guest speaker from VOM Korea! Our heart and purpose for this retreat is to collaborate with local churches in organizing events that will bless the persecuted church, as well as mentor women in growing through adversity. These Olympic Faith retreats seek to create an awareness of the persecution levelled against women around the world, while recognizing that women in Canada also experience various types of abuse, suffering or persecution. That means we can connect heart-to-heart with our Christian sisters overseas – even though many miles may separate us.
My hope is that you will find this weekend retreat to be a place that gives women a greater understanding of the restorative power of Christ while in fellowship with each other, both domestically and internationally. How beautiful to find women praying for women!
It’s a great opportunity for your ladies to bond while we do all the work. Your congregants will come away with an increased perspective on what it means to be a vital part of the body of Christ, walking alongside those persecuted members AND have fun while doing it!
