Host families needed!

I hope this email finds you well! I’m reaching out from the non-profit YMCA Summer Work Student Exchange (SWSE) program. I know we had been in touch last spring, and I really appreciate your efforts to help strengthen opportunities for youth in the Ottawa region.
Each year, we run a 6-week national summer program for youth aged 16-17 to practice their second language in another community in Canada. The students are given the opportunity to gain work experience, participate in group activities, and learn more about diverse cultures and families in our community.  
There are many young people in the Ottawa area this year who would really benefit from this opportunity, although many of them are not able to host in return, due to unsuitable family situations, living too far away from the city, or not having the resources to do so. We are struggling to find families willing to take in exchange students this summer, and I wanted to reach out to inquire if you could spread the message to the members of your church community. 
 
With such kind-hearted, welcoming, and involved members, I would love to collaborate with you to pair exchange students with willing families in your area. Local families have had numerous positive experiences with being able to share their culture, language, and lifestyle with a young person, building an unforgettable connection. We are offering $400 grocery store gift cards to families who host a student, in order to compensate for any costs associated with providing meals. We are also open to discussing any additional supports needed in order to facilitate a positive experience for the youth and families!
