Pastor Julius' ordination

On March 3rd, Pastor Julius was installed as an ordained minister in the newly formed denomination called the RCEA (Reformation Church in East Africa) and the Nakaale church plant. Praise God for the way that he has been teaching Pastor Julius and enabling him to work alongside the mission in Nakaale. Our tiny mission church is now a church plant of the RCEA!

Pastor Julius lives in Nakaale with his wife Doreen, son Kelvin, and baby daughter Kelce. Their oldest daughter is at boarding school near Mbale. 

Please pray for the young men that he is mentoring on the ministry team: Maruk Mark, Locoro Emmanuel, Alebo Moses, and Lomokol James. 

We were happy to celebrate with the local congregation as we reach this milestone in church planting. Please pray that those who have been attending worship over the years will see the value in becoming church members. 

Please continue to pray for this fledgling church and its potential leaders as it learns to depend less on our mission and become self-governing and self-sustaining. We know we have not been alone, as God is always with us and has gone before us for his glory in this place, yet, now it is great to know that a denomination is forming to include our church in its presbytery. All for Jesus!
