Looking back at 2020, this might seem hard. But really, we can't help but do all three:
God is in control. His plans are never obstructed. He loves our Campers and Staff more than we ever could. He remains on His throne. Therefore we will rejoice always!
We don't know when and how the crucial ministry of Christian camps will resume. Therefore we pray continuously.
God blessed us incredibly in 2020. During our 'down time' we reached people we had been praying forfor years. He is enlarging and clarifying our visinon for the future. Most of all, He is still using us to accomplish His purpose. He is involved in the details. Therefore we give thanks in all circumstances!

Indeed, it is God's will for us to rejoice, pray, and give thanks! At Camp Cherith we wholeheartedly agree and we are grateful.

The Greek word for gratitude is 'eucharisteo'. It means thanksgiving and joy - all rolled up in one beautiful word! "He who has learned [to give thanks for everything] knows what it means to live ...He has penetrated the whole mystery of life: giving thanks for everything." -Albert Schweitzer Gratitude may be hard when storms of life throw us pain or hardship. But surprisingly, when we choose to be thankful, we discover joy. We learn by practice and it's well worth the effort. Seek ways to be thankful. You will be glad you did! 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - "give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." Blessings, ![]() Barbara |
