Pre-Authorized Remittance

Pre-Authorized Remittance is the most cost-effective way of giving to the church. It has minimal overhead, so more money goes to doing God's work. PAR is a service administrated by The United Church of Canada.

To donate using PAR, fill in the form below and deliver it to Arlene at the Grace Church Office. Please remember to include a voided cheque if paying with debit.

Donate With Tithe.ly

We are trying to make it easier and more convenient to make online payments to Grace.  There is already a Canada Helps donation button.

Now we would like to introduce you to Tithe.ly (www.tithely.com).  This approach provides more control and flexibility in making donations.  You can make donations by two methods:

1. On the home page of the Grace web site we have added a Tithe.ly button just below the Canada Helps button.  The Tithe.ly button will bring you to the Tithe.ly web site and provide you with a form to fill out to make your donation.  You can make a one-time donation or create an account for use with future donations.
2. You can download the Tithe.ly app onto your cell phone and use this app to make your donations.  You must first create an account on Tithe.ly web site and also set up Grace Presbyterian Church as the recipient for your donation.  Once complete you can then use the app on your phone to log in (one time) and make donations.

Regardless of which method you choose, you will be asked to go through the following steps:

• You will be asked to provide contact information (name and address) and credit card information.  Any donation made will be charged against this credit card.
• You will be asked where your donation should be directed:  Currently, the choices provided are:
• Regular Offering
• Miracle Sunday Roof Fund
• Fundraising
• Tofflemire Student Bursary
• Youth Mission Fund

If you wish to designate a different purpose for your donation, choose “Regular Offering” and provide a clear description of how the donation should be used in the Note / Memo field.

• You can then choose to make a one-time donation or set up an automated regular payment (e.g.: weekly, semi-monthly, monthly)
• You can also choose to cover the processing fee for your donation so that Grace does not have to pay this.

If you are comfortable with your current method of donations to Grace (cash, envelopes or pre-authorized debit) there is no need to convert to the Tithe.ly method.  However, if you find yourself in a service at Grace without cash or an envelope to put into the approaching collection plate and are desperate for a legitimate reason to turn on your cell phone during the service, please consider the Tithe.ly method of donation.
