The Premier of Ontario announced a province-wide lockdown beginning at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, Dec 26 and set to be in place for 28 days.
What this means for Grace is that the Christmas Eve service may proceed as planned; and that the in-person worship option will not be available beginning with Sunday, Dec 27, and continuing until the lockdown is lifted.
As the Respond Ottawa C-19 Taskforce has been scanning for COVID-19 related needs around our city, we’ve determined that PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) is still one of the highest demands. Hospitals have a very short supply and continue to ration them to their doctors and nurses. As our city begins to open up, a number of frontline ministries and organizations will start operating again. Many of these groups will need PPE supplies. We are targeting this need at the moment. So, we are calling on the church of the city to respond to this request. Over the next couple of weeks we’ll be making suggestions on how the church can help.

Dear Congregation and friends:
In light of the developing Covid 19 situation, we are closing the Grace Church building to all groups that meet here. This closure will remain in effect for the foreseeable future. While the building may be closed, the church remains here and available for you. If you have needs, please do not hesitate to make contact.
We are checking email. We are encouraging you to contact each other by phone and computer. Let us not fear, but trust the Lord for this unusual season we are in.
Please visit our Face Book page for regular updates.
Yours in Christ's service.
Pastor Jonathan and the Session of Grace Church.
