Dear Innercity Intercessors,
Waiting is a difficult thing for many of us... um, er, well... it is difficult for me at least. I am just going to put that confession 'out there' — and be transparent. Yes, it's true.
We wait for things, and wonder why, or when rather, they will come to fruition. I would say that all of us are waiting for lockdown to lift, for this current reality to change, so that we can get back to living once again.
I am with you on this. I have been keeping you up to date regarding the process of the sale of 391 Gladstone, and our interest in the building. As of this moment, May 13, there is nothing new to report except that the appraiser has been in and said it might take a couple of weeks to compile the report for the owner. I am waiting.
One really great thing about waiting is that it gives us more time to pray and intercede for whatever circumstances and people are involved in our 'wait'. Timing is critical here: it is often the case (for me at least) that the waiting is providing the time for the Lord to have things lined up in order, and in preparation, for His answer to His people.
Please continue to pray about our building, for finances and clear direction.
David, wrote: Still I am certain to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait patiently for the LORD; be strong and courageous. Wait patiently for the LORD!
Psalm 27: 13-14
While we wait, we pray, and trust and see His goodness. It's coming, in good time — in His time.
